Roskilde & Ringsted

Those two ancient towns are today lively cities offering many cultural events, music festivals, shops and historic sites worth a visit while you are staying with us.

In Roskilde you have the opportunity to expand your historical experience and learn more about Denmarks history through a visit to the Viking Ship Museum, completed by a relaxing stroll along the harbour.
Roskilde Cathedral is the Danish Royal families' burial place and walking through the building is like taking a walk through the centuries. The towns' cozy pedestrian street offers a broad selection of shops.

Sct. Bendts cathedral in Ringsted dates back to the 14th century and is showing interesting facts of Danish history. There you can also see baroque and classicistic tubes and memorials of the Bruun de Neergaard family.
Furthermore you will find
a large outlet center with a varied selection of danish and international brands and the brand new Movie House.

  • Skjoldenæsholm  Castle in Denmark (a 1 hour drive from Copenhagen), is the ultimate getaway destination if you need to unwind completely. The peaceful surroundings, the impressive history and the exquisite food welcomes guests from near and far – if it sounds like a fairytale, that’s exactly what it is!

  • The manor with several hundred year's of history has a unique atmosphere. It was a breathtaking experience to draw away the curtains and see two swans sliding over the lake in the morning haze.
